Report: CNN fixes breaches, continues work in Russia

MOSCOW, Oct 10 (PRIME) -- U.S. television channel CNN has mended the violations revealed by the Russian communications watchdog and will continue broadcasting on the local market, business daily Vedomosti reported on Tuesday, quoting the authority’s Director Alexander Zharov.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media will “continue to monitor compliance of the American company with Russian law,” Zharov said.

In September, Zharov said that CNN has received an administrative warning over incorrect indication of data in its broadcast. Breaches must be fixed by Wednesday.
